Inspired by my love for all things pop music, pop culture, Billboard Hot 100 and music charts, in general. 
My Hot 40 originally started as a top 20 that I would track weekly in Microsoft Word.  I created my first Hot 40 website in 2011 and through many different updates and web designs, it is still alive today. My Hot 40 is updated every Sunday, and is determined based on my own personal music preference, songs I hear in my daily life and personal streaming play.  Only songs deemed as singles are eligible to chart, which means that album cuts rarely make the chart.

The annual Year End Top 100 is determined by that year's charted songs using a specially crafted point system. The tracking period runs from December-December, to take into account songs that I love towards the end of a calendar year.
